Hello! my friends of all nations, wherever you are striving for progress and self development. As you may already know this is my day for just praising the Lord my God. In conjunction with getting my praise on, I wanted to pause and share with you that in my relationship with God we set aside a traditional celebration known as Advent. This Advent season which we are just entering, although its placement may be a little bit late, recognizes the coming of the Christ child, Jesus the Messiah who brings light or revelation into the world.
The gospel writer John affirms that people loved darkness rather than light because they did not want it known what they were doing. When I thought about the truth of that statement, and how I was once numbered in that crowd, I can’t help but rejoice knowing that light has not only come into the world but it is in me. When we receive light, no longer can negative attitudes remain in us. No longer are naysayers able to hold us down. When we receive light, we have the strength and the faith to keep moving forward toward our desired goals.
Many times in the fields of business and personal development we have heard that the most effective and the quickest method of achieving success is to model the behavior and plan of those who have become successful. Since this has proven to be true by many highly achieving persons who have followed this strategy, I believe that in this season we might take notice to follow Him who has brought light into the world. Do you need light in your business, light in your personal life? Jesus is the light of the world.
