Hello! all you highly favored Powerhouse visitors on the move for progress.
Ya’ll already know I am getting ready for the second Sunday in Advent. Heh! ” ready “, now that is quite an appropriate word for this period of the Season. For the second Sunday in Advent traditionally represents the preparation to receive the coming of Christ the Messiah into our hearts. That coming poses for me an expectation which is cloaked in Christ’s words from the Bible informing me that he ” is come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly “. While I cannot speak for you, as for me, I’m ready to receive; I am preparing to receive that abundant life freely given to me as a faithful adherent to the Kingdom Christ has established.
The prophet Isaiah clearly and truthfully proclaimed that, ” For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulders… “. The birth of this child, who we recognize as Jesus, opened the door that we might experience the fullness of the Kingdom of God. I choose not to be held captive by financial situations in my life. I have thrown off the bondage of allowing circumstances to control my financial success and destiny through the discovery of God’s provision of abundance. God’s Kingdom, His government is one of peace and abundance; that is what I choose to receive, and that is where I choose to live.
Life is too short to spend even one day down and out, or living from paycheck to paycheck. Overcoming such dire circumstances entails the employment of the principles of this coming Kingdom or government. Every government has laws or principles. No less so in the Kingdom of God. Because I believe that I have received the financial, business, personal, and social abundance destined for my life, I am assured that I already have it. This may be the first principle of the Kingdom, for ” without faith it is impossible to please God “. One other important law we should be sure to receive and observe while seeking that abundance, is the principle of giving and receiving. Persons who hoard up for themselves restrict abundance from flowing into their lives. In this season we make a show of giving, but make it a habit to release into the lives of others, and see the abundance flow back into your own.
Look! I’m off to Sunday inspiration and celebration. But in the meantime, this is Jerome from the Powerhouse saying: Blessings Now!
